Why You Can’t Miss Mike Ferry’s 2024 Superstar Retreat

Welcome to Mike Ferry TV the week of June 3rd, the sixth month halfway point for the year. On July 16th, we’re starting our annual Superstar Retreat. We started doing the retreats in 1985. We’ve been doing them a long time. We’ve had tens of thousands of people attend our Superstar Retreats, so we start the retreat on July 16th. It’s being held at the convention center at the Venetian Palazzo Hotel. We’ve used this facility time and time again because it’s so close to the sleeping rooms, the restaurants, etc. and our clients keep saying, we want to go back to the Venetian Palazzo. We’ve scheduled it not only for this year, coming up in the month of July, but for next year.

Are You Planning on Attending?

I guess the big question is, are you planning on attending? And if the answer is yes, be sure to get to Las Vegas early on Monday, because we do our annual bonus sessions from about 1:00 to 4:30. The bonus sessions are simply we’ll ask 5 or 6 of the top agents that are in our coaching to share with the people at the bonus session what they do best, and how did they get to the levels of productivity that they got to? It’s a very straightforward 3 to 4 hours, and the way we set it up is we have 2 or 3 rooms that will hold about 300 people each, and the speakers change rooms so you can be in one permanent spot for the afternoon. If you’re planning on attending, try to make sure that you’re there for that Monday session.

Intense and Rewarding Schedule

Now the second thought: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday we go from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a very intense four days, but at the same time, you’re going to be in a room with 3500 people who all have the same ambition and goals that you have, which is to improve the quality of their business, the quality of their production, their income, and to make the second half of the year a stronger second half.

Focus on Sales Skills

I wrote down the following: The biggest need I see in Real Estate today is the development of sales skills. We’re going to be presenting to you during the retreat, 200 plus sales-oriented ideas that will not only build your confidence but assist you in making the second half of the year a strong second half. I’m also making a major change to this presentation, as we’re going to have all the 200 plus points preprinted in the workbook, so you’re not spending eight hours a day writing.

Enhanced Participation

You can listen, you can absorb, you can make this a much better retreat for yourself. We’re going to take 1 or 2 words out of each of these points for a little fill-in-the-blank to keep you participating, but it’s going to be a big, big change because instead of writing all day—and I see this taking place continually—you’re going to be able to listen, focus, and concentrate on what I’m presenting, along with 2 to 3 panels which will have on the stage, sharing how they have developed their business.

Networking Opportunities

So come to the retreat with a small box of business cards, because there’s always 25 to 50 referrals done during the four days, and many times that’s much higher. We just don’t get the reports on it. But, also the referrals that follow the retreat are nonstop. Come looking your best with the best attitude you possibly can have. Be open-minded to the fact that we have to change some of what we do to make it happen.

Fun and Festivities

On a fun note, on Thursday night we do a themed dance party for all the attendees, and we charge for all the food and drinks that you can eat and drink. A total of $20. Somebody asked me, why do we charge $20? And the answer is that way we can project to the hotel how much food to have at the dance party.
